Cardigan makeover Free People style

Free People make some great sweaters. Right now they have this awesome ethnic cardigan with pom pom ties. How convenient that I had this fuzzy peruvian pullover in the closet that I never wear. You might remember I have a thing against pullover sweaters. They rip the bobbypins out of my hair and give me sausage body (the main reason). I pictured what this cardigan makeover could look like. Like most things I do, I got right to work without much thought. I cut it and finished it while watching Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows. Cool movie, btw, but then I’m a sucker for Johnny and Helena. And pom poms??? YES!!
I know I say everything is easy, but this is really one of the easiest projects I’ve ever done. DEF my easiest cardigan enhancement and I must admit, I’ve done a few! Shhh…don’t tell anybody!
Before & after:

You can pretty much figure out how to do anything on the internet these days. Like how to make the pom poms or do a finishing stitch. I used yarn and a big fat needle for that. If you need help or have questions…as always write to me. I dig giving solicited advice! :) Have a great day!!! kimi
