French country messed me up

It’s been over a month since the trip to France and I hope to never recover! Look at all this! The best part is the whole thing was fueled by fresh baguettes and chocolate croissants! I’m pretty sure it really happened cuz I’ve been making fresh bread and gardening like a maniac ever since! I finally get what our B&B host meant when she said the French don’t use lots of superlatives to describe life, they just live it! I totally get it!! Be careful when you travel, it just might change your life!!

  1. Oh my word. I think just looking at these photos messed ME up! Why don’t we have towns like that in the US?? Can’t we construct just ONE charming, idyllic, quasi-European village? Other than Harry Potter World?

  2. gorgeous photos, kimi! i totally wanted to rescue that orange dutch oven! :) traveling totally changes you- it expands your heart, for sure! we got engaged on a bridge over the arno river in italy- and it definitely has been a shaping factor in our marriage…in the best possible way! thanks for sharing your trip. :)

  3. Kimi,

Thanks! I finally got around to creating the chore list from your previous blog post with back to school goings on! As I figured… my teenage slacker made a big deal of moving the magnets around in a low tech protest of work responsibilities! But, I knew that would happen! She’s so typically human. Change averse and all! So, she better get used to it! Life happens!

    Thanks for the inspiration!
