Good morning France…Love at first sight

Me and jetlag? We’ve learned how to get along. Trick is to get in late. After dark. Exhausted from travel with feet shaped like chubby Bratwursts, I hit the pillow and crash. Can’t wait to rise early and find out where I am! I knew we were meeting friends in Burgundy France. Beyond that, I had no idea what else to expect. From the airport in Lyon to this little beauty all we could make out was that everything looked really old. No street lights, no porch lights, nothin! Just a big full moon!
This is La Cuverie du Chateau, a B & B in a little French village called Corcelles les Arts. It was the winery for the castle next door. Probably about 3-400 years old. I think I love this place!

So gorgeous!!! Your pics are amazing….Merci!

Why do you torture me like this? I’m have such envy of all your travels. I’m a good friend though and I am equally as happy for you. What great experiences. That place looks so picturesque. Keep posting!
totally! I know you love me! I’m envious, too! Can’t believe i was really there. The whole time I kept saying “I’m in France, I’m in France!” I’ve watched Band Of Brothers and WarHorse and lots of war movies and it still looks the way they portray it in those movies/docos. GORGEOUS!!!!
