Glads, pin cushions and an experimental arrangement

I saw a  really cool low profile floral arrangement at a party a few weeks ago.  I haven’t stopped thinking about it. Then Trader’s was selling all my favorite flowers one day and I went for it.  This arrangement looks nothing like the one I saw, but it’s mine. I stuffed oasis down in this pot I had and went for it! I can’t wait to make more, so next time I’ll take photos and show you how.  Until then…

  1. Seriously is there anything you can’t do? You are amazing. I’ve been making the green smoothie this past week and I thought “I need a great muffin to go with this” and your next post was the muffins! I went to look for Chef Brad’s Wonder Flour and found it at Clintons but it was $17 for 5 pounds. Is it worth it? Your mom said you ground your own. Maybe another post?

    • Ha!!! Dix, my secret is that I only post things I can do so it appears that way!!! Kinda like I only go out if I’m in a good mood so people have this idea that I’m always fun. hahaha. I but a 5 lb bag of whole spelt, barley and sweet brown rice. I put it in my vitamix (or whatever you use to grind grains) a 1/2 cup of each and grind it. I make a big batch at a time. It’s great for pancakes and waffles, too. It’s just an alternative to whole wheat. i love hearing from you!!! Glad you like the smoothie It’s a good one!!

What are you thinking?
